Introducing the PG-9DOD

  • The PG-9DOD is a compact OD grinding machine designed to handle small components such as hard bushings and rollers. The machine was designed to grind high performance engine components and can be simply adapted to process equally challenging parts where the concentricity specification is critical.
  • Parts can be staged on a precision arbor fixture ready to be loaded into the machine.

Workhead Assembly and Cast Iron Bed

Built on a cast iron bed coupled with a high precision twin grip spindle, the PG-9DOD can hold extremely tight concentricity specs. An oscillating head adds an additional level of surface and straightness control to the grinding process. Also, the hydraulically driven arbor attachment provides part control during the plunge grinding operation.

Independent Slides for Quick Setup

Independent Slides for Quick Setup

The system's two independent slides (upper and lower), which control the regulating wheel and the blade that holds the part being ground in place, provide significantly easier set up than competing systems.

The control software is entirely developed at Glebar and is fully customizable to address your application and process. The intuitive touch screen interface allows for ease of use and flexibility. The machine software interface was developed to allow an unskilled operator to run many high precision machines simultaneously.
