A linear glass scale on the regulating wheel slide closes the control loop insuring positioning to 50 millionths. The improved super precision regulating wheel housing offers a superior spindle performance over the 8-1/4" work span.

Built in software features to allow you to:

• Take advantage of 1.5" up to 8" wide work wheel for single taper work. With the optimized feeding system, produce stylets at a rate of 5 sec piece to piece unattended.
• Profile grind up to six tapers automatically or complex curves using built in 12 sensors detecting the wire proximal end or distal end.
• Automatically compute the trajectory of the taper during the grind producing such shapes as concave or convex forms.
• Built in paddle grinding; in some cases without the use of a paddle stop.
